UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
Undergraduate Programs
The Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities is offering the following undergraduate degree programs:
- BS English – 4 years program
- BS Mathematics – 4 years program
BS English – 4 years program
Pre-Requisite:
- Intermediate or equivalent with at least 45% marks; preference will be given to students who have studied English Advanced in their Intermediate.
- Having passed CECOS / NTS Entry Test
BS Mathematics – 4 years program
Pre-Requisite:
- Intermediate with mathematics or equivalent with at least 50% marks or 60% marks in DAE.
- Having passed CECOS / NTS Entry Test
GRADUATE PROGRAMS
Graduate Programs
The Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities is offering the following graduate degree programs:
- MS Mathematics
- P.hD Mathematics
MS Mathematics:
The degree program is of a 2-year duration and spans for 16-18 weeks semesters. Total credit hours for the program are 30 lie., 24 credit hours of coursework plus 6 credit hours of thesis and research in case of MS by research Plan-Al.
In Year-Il, selected students will embark on a thesis project lie., on basis of their CGPA, as well as synopsis defence others will have to opt for the non-thesis track lie., all 30 credit hours derived from coursework Plan-BI. Students with unsatisfactory performance in their thesis research will be shifted to the non-thesis track.
P.hD Mathematics:
PhD is a 3 year degree program, during which the scholar must successfully complete 54 credit hours 18 credit hours course work and 36 credit hours research) beside other requirements as stipulated by the HEC and the University rules & regulations.
