At CECOS University Peshawar, the admission process of undergraduate programs normally starts in July every year. Whereas, for postgraduate programs the fall admissions start in August and Spring admissions start in February every year.

The undergraduate admissions are offered once in a year, whereas, the postgraduate
admission are offered twice in a year.

The start of admission is announced through advertisement in newspapers and social media campaign.

Students awaiting result can apply for admission. However, such candidates are allowed provisional admission subject to fulfillment of requisite eligibility criteria.

Most of the undergraduate program are having 4 years’ minimum duration except the B.
Architecture, PharmD and DPT programs which have 5 years’ duration.

The minimum duration of graduate programs is 2 years.

You can apply for admission in CECOS University through any of the following processes:
1) Online Application:

 You can apply online from anywhere, through the online form available at the
University website www.apply. cecos.edu.pk
 You have to deposit Rs.1,500/- for undergraduate program and Rs. 2000/- for
graduate / postgraduate programs as admission processing fee through any mode of
payment (Online Transfer/IBFT/Easy paisa/Jazz cash) in one of the followings bank
accounts being maintained with title of CECOS University of IT and Emerging
Sciences and mention the transaction ID in online application:

 No document will be required to be submitted with online application.
 Applications received on or before the closing date will be entertained.
 Names of only eligible candidates will be included in the merit list.
 Appearance in centralized test conducted by ETEA will be compulsory for admission
in B.Sc. Engineering programs
 Incorrect information will result in rejection of online admission application.
2) Paper Application:
The interested candidates can obtain the University Prospectus and Admission form
from the Main Campus of the University. The candidates have to follow the
instructions given on the admission form and prospectus, fill in the form and submit
the same in the Admission Cell by hand before the closing date.

The admission application fee is Rs. 1500/- for undergraduate programs and Rs. 2000/- for graduate and postgraduate programs.

The age limit for undergraduate programs in 30 years, however, the Vice Chancellor can allow relaxation in age limit on case to case basis. For graduate programs there is no age
limit.

We follow the deadlines mentioned in admission schedule. However, acceptance of applications after the deadline depends upon availability of vacant seats in relevant
program.

For undergraduate engineering programs appearance in ETEA / centralized entry test is mandatory. There is no requirement of minimum ETEA / centralized test score. For non-
engineering undergraduate program, the minimum required entry test score is 50.

One-year exemption is given in undergraduate engineering programs to those who possess
Bachelor of Technology degree in relevant field.

The foreign applicants having passport and valid visit visa can apply for admission. After
admission, their cases are forwarded to Higher Education Commission for grant of NOC
and continuation of studies.

Yes, the selected candidates are called for interview.

The foreign applicants can give interview through skype or WhatsApp.

There is not quota system for admission in any discipline. All the admissions are made purely on merit basis.

Students are not to allowed on campus. University hostels are available in the nearby locality.

Yes, in case you could not make it this time, you can apply in the next admission session.

You can apply in every admission session, however, the admission will be made purely on merit basis.

In every semester the University invites applications for financial aid. In case your financial position changes during the semester, you can submit financial aid form to Director Welfare. The form is available at University website www.cecos.edu.pk.
