National Startup Championship 2022 is scheduled to be held in August 2022. SEE 2022 is a flagship event organized by the Association of Private Sector Universities in Punjab (APSUP) which celebrates innovators, change-makers, impactors and entrepreneurs.
SEE 2019 was held before the advent of COVID, in which around 80 groups of students comprising more than 325 participants presented their innovative ideas whereas more than 70 investors were also part of the event.
NSC 2022 is a National Startup Championship supported by Innovation District 92 and cross-country institutional partners to identify the most innovative startups whose projects help accelerate the achievement of innovation in entrepreneurship. The ultimate goal envisioned by NSC is to showcase startups of dynamic nature with the capacity to create jobs and increase inclusiveness. It is going to target ideas and startups from all walks of life, from all over the country and in all economic sectors.
The NSC will begin by launching regional rounds in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Bahawalpur, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta with the support of collaborative partners. After a thorough screening and transparent shortlisting process, the selected startups will be invited to showcase their startups at the mega event SEE 2022 in August and compete for the final round in Lahore, Pakistan. The winners will be awarded handsome amounts of cash prizes up to PKR 300,000.
