CECOS University in collaboration with ADA- ARCHITECTURE DESIGN ART Awards and Institute of Architects, Pakistan,IAP Peshawar Chapter successfully hosted a full-day seminar titled “Art & Design as Catalyst 2.0” on Thursday, 20th November 2025.
The event began with opening remarks delivered by Ar. Adnan Ahmad Khan, Head of the Department of Architecture, CECOS University, setting the tone for a day of meaningful dialogue and creative exploration.
The seminar saw an impressive turnout, bringing together architects, designers, and students for a dynamic and enriching exchange of ideas. Attendees enjoyed insightful presentations by award-winning architects from the ADA Awards Fourth Cycle. Distinguished speakers — Ar. Raza Ali Dada, Ali Rez, Ar. Zarminae Ansari, Ar. Zulfiqar Ali, Ar. Faheem Ahsan Jamil, and artist Yumna — showcased outstanding projects that highlighted innovative approaches and creative excellence, leaving a strong impact on the audience.
The program culminated in a thought-provoking panel discussion moderated by Tazeen Hussain. Panelists included Ar. Fawad Suhail Abbasi (President, IAP), Ar. Muhammad Tahir Khattak (Vice President, IAP), Naeem Safi, and Ar. Maria Aslam, who reflected on the transformative influence of art and design as powerful catalysts within society. Active audience engagement enriched the conversation and contributed to the event’s overall success.
