We are pleased to announce a notable achievement in the collaboration between MTI- Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar (HMC) and the Department of Pharmacy, CECOS University.
This significant success in academia-hospital collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions during a distinguished event held at MTI-HMC.
The occasion was graced by prominent professionals, including Prof. Dr. Fazal Subhan, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences at CECOS University, Prof. Dr. Shehzad Akbar Khan, Medical Director of MTI-HMC and Professor Dr. Zahid Aman Dean of MTI-HMC. Other distinguished representatives included Dr. Faiz Ullah Khan, Head of Pharmacy Practice Section, Department of Pharmacy, CECOS University, along with Mr. Abdul Hanan, Director of ORIC, and Dr. Jehan Zeb, Lead Clinical Pharmacist, MTI-HMC. Additional representatives included Dr. Waqar Ali, Clinical Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacy Division, MTI-HMC, Peshawar.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting research and clinical pharmacy practice activities. Additionally, the undergraduate clerkship opportunities will train students from the Department of Pharmacy, CECOS University, equipping them with essential skills and training during their studies. The MoU addresses the evolving needs of healthcare and achieves the shared goals of both institutions.
