In collaboration with IAP-PC and Peshawar Development Authority, the Architecture Department of CECOS University proudly planted 150 Citrus Trees at the park near Bangash Market, Hayatabad Phase 6, on September 6th, 2024. This initiative aims to contribute to a greener environment and promote sustainability in our community. Together, we are making a positive impact and playing our role in creating a more sustainable future.   

The Medicinal Plant Collection Tour was arranged by the Department of Pharmacy, CECOS University. The tour, headed by Ms. Yamema Younatan and assisted by Dr. Siraj-Ul- Haq, Mr. Muhammad Anwar and Mr. Hamzalah was held from Aug 07, 2024 to Aug 10, 2024.    Students of 4 th Semester Pharm D conducted guided nature walks to Kalabagh track, Mushkpuri and Pipeline areas, during which they identified natural flora, studied and collected some important medicinal plants from their natural habitat. Students further learnt about biodiversity and cultural significance of natural medicine.

Research Poster Competition at Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences   The Research Poster Competition held during the Literary Week Allied Health Sciences at Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences showcased the dedication and commitment of students to research in allied health sciences. Among the participants, Muhammad stood out under the mentorship of Dr. Saad Salman, securing the first prize with a presentation that exemplified exceptional quality, innovation, and depth of research. His achievement reflects the high standard of scholarly work fostered at the college.  

The 17th UMR conference, hosted by Peshawar Medical College, provided a dynamic platform for CECOS University undergraduate students to exhibit their research endeavors. Led by faculty members Dr. Saad Salman, Dr. Shehla Akbar and Madam Sana Haider. The event showcased a myriad of activities including keynote lectures, panel discussions, poster competitions and oral presentations. Notably, Pharmacy Department students made significant contributions, underlining the institution’s dedication to cultivating a research-driven environment. Students from Architecture department participated in GIKI’s Naqsh society event, IRTIQA’24 Their dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence propelled them to victory, showcasing their remarkable skills and abilities. CECOS University Convocation 2024 was held today in which the recently graduated students of CECOS University Peshawar, received the precious document of their careers. CECOS University hosted a convocation ceremony where parent’s claps and weeping of joy honored the most historical event of their sons and daughters. Total 130 graduates including 3 PhDs attends the ceremony.   The students from departments of Architecture, Biotechnology, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and Management Computer Sciences and Allied Health Sciences received their degrees while gold medals were awarded to toppers from all departments.
